The CD-ROM version of Angul District Gazetteer, developed by NIC Angul District Centre in Orissa was recently released by Sh Navin Patnaik, Hon’ble Chief Minister at Talcher. The Hon’ble CM thanked the District Administration and NIC for taking the initiative for the preparation of this CD-ROM version of Gazetteer which is the first of its kind in the State. The CD-ROM is a reflection of the history, people, culture, land, flora, fauna, economy and infrastructure of the District. Sh. Nikunj Bihari Dhal, IAS, Collector & DM Angul presided over the meeting and appreciated NIC’s role in the preparation of the CD-ROM.
