Pondicherry: A one-day orientation programme on Computerized Rural Information Systems Project (CRISP) was organized for the Directorate of Rural Development Agency (DRDA) officials of Pondicherry at the Pondicherry State Unit of the National Informatics Centre recently. Inaugurating the workshop, the Project Director, DRDA, Mr. B.V. Selvaraj, IAS, urged his officers to use the facilities available under CRISP to effectively monitor various projects such as Jawahar Rojgar Yojana (JRY), Training for Rural Youth and Self Employment (TRYSEM), Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas (DWCRA), Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP), etc.
