Department of Information Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh recently announced “Excellence in e-Governance Awards” under different categories. NIC district centres of Jabalpur, Sagar, Indore and Mandla received awards for their seamless efforts towards the successful development and implementation of various e-Governance Projects in their respective districts. While Jabalpur and Sagar districts jointly received the award for 'Best e-Governed Districts in Madhya Pradesh', 'Samadhan Ek Din' developed by DIC Indore, and 'Child Record Information System' (ChRIS) developed by DIC Mandla (for Commissioner Jabalpur Division) were adjudged the best projects fulfilling the objective - 'IT for Masses'. 'Revenue Officers Monitoring System', designed, developed and implemented by DIC Indore (for 7 districts of Indore Division) won the 'Best Application Software' award.
