The goal is to strike a common chord. For ours is an organization with such a vast repertoire of human resource that needs and outlooks tend to vary at different levels. Our man in the district may appreciate material which would not find favour with those in the regional or even in the state centres and vice versa. The endeavour is to have something for all our Readers --- those at the district, state, regional and national levels, our end users and still others who are interested in what we are doing.
This inaugural issue of NICNET defines the broad outlines along which we intend to develop. The rest is up to our Readers. It is their involvement which will make, or the lack of it which will mar. On our part we stand resolved to spare no effort. Looking forward to a future full of excitement and challenge.
