Greetings! GoI Search as a Service (GoI-SaS) is an initiative to foster the efficiency and user experience in the search interface of the Government owned websites. As a joint effort of the National Informatics Centre and CDAC, rendered with open source tools & technologies, this service aims to maneuver the quality and relevance of the search results for the users besides enabling the administrators to monitor and analyze the search traffic on their websites. This issue of Informatics endows with a comprehensive overview of the initiative and explains how the service is useful and can be effectively applied for the government websites.
Under E-Gov Products and Services section, we have underlined various significant ICT initiatives implemented in diverse sectors and geographical spheres of the nation. ICT and ITeS for Local Bodies elections in Haryana, Online Entrepreneur Memorandum System, CollabDDS, Publishing of Exam Results and Online Counselling, CAS-MIS, iCJS, eROR, Infrastructure Project Monitoring System have been elucidated in this section.
The Technology Update section accentuates on the relevance and far-reaching outcome of imminent technologies such as Internet of Things. This section also carries a detailed account on Responsive Design.
This issue also covers updates on the latest ICT developments in the districts of Bhilwara, Hamirpur and Gonda.
