To mark the International Women’s Day on 8th March, the women of NIC under the forum of ‘Sanghmitra’ had a colourful celebration. The main event, held at NIC Headquarters was attended by a large number of female NIC personnel posted at HQ as well as other NIC Centres in Delhi and adjoining areas. The NIC women personnel from various State Centres also participated in the celebrations through video conferencing. The event, organized by the Office bearers of Sanghmitra led by Ms J.R Kailay was inaugurated by DG NIC through a ceremonious lighting of the lamp. Dr Y.K Sharma, DDG NIC was also present at the occasion. This was followed by an enthralling cultural programme compared by Ms Rachna Srivastava, NIC HQ in which NIC women personnel displayed their wonderful talent.
