Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) is an annual event where the signatories of the Antarctic Treaty get together to discuss about the management of Antarctica in different countries every year. It was indeed a proud moment for India to host the 30th ATCM at its magnificent national conference center at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi a few months back. The ATCM attracted governmental delegates, observers from NGOs, research scholars, media representatives and business personnel from several Countries. NIC was entrusted with the responsibilities to cater to the ICT needs of this international conference and also to extend complete IT support to the delegates attending the conference. Towards this objective, NIC team worked in perfect synchronization with all involved agencies starting from creation of database to designing of website. NIC also provided un-interrupted high speed connectivity to the delegates for their individual access to Net and also to the delegates presenting their material in the conference.
