Delhi : A Special web site has been developed on the National Taskforce on Information Technology and Software Development which is being hosted on NIC's web server. Besides providing detailed information about the Task Force, this web-site is a forum for receiving suggestions, analysing them and hosting them back as a structured and classified digest of suggestions from IT Professionals in India and abroad. It thus intends to make the evolution of the Policy transparent. The highlights of the website include:
- An open web-letter to all the IT Professionals from the Task Force Chairman, Sh.Jaswant Singh.
- The Government Notification on the setting up of the Task Force.
- The Members' List of the Task Force
- The Basic Background Report
- The Digest of suggestions received from India and abroad.; and
- Advisory Virtual Forums for discussions on identified areas.
