The picturesque island of Lakshadweep (UT) recently revised the look and content of its website. The new website contains detailed information on Lakshadweep and aspects such as its Profile, Tourism, Administration, Government Departments etc. The website , developed by NIC Lakshadweep Unit also hosts the complete Telephone and Email directory of the UT’s Government, besides a visually appealing photo gallery. An interesting feature is the detailed information, including fares, of Ship/Helicopter Travel in the Islands for the benefit of the visitors. The revised website was inaugurated on Independence Day by Sh. K S Mehara, Hon’ble Administrator, Lakshadweep at a special function held at the Secretariat
