The official web site of National Film Archive of India was recently inaugurated by Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of I & B. The website has been designed and developed by NIC, Pune. The website has an array of features such as pop ups on special film screenings, Film circle activities, film appreciation courses etc. The most important feature of the web site is its unique search engine, which allows people to obtain information on films from the silent era to present day blockbusters. One can get details about the film’s director, cast and other details by either entering its title, year of release, director name or name of the personality.
