New Delhi: The Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperation Ltd (IFFCO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, had organized the " Agro-Tech' 96" Exhibition during December 18 to 28, 1996, at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. NIC had participated in the event by putting up a joint stall with IFFCO. The following facilities were demonstrated during the exhibition: ● Multimedia Educational Softwares ● Complete Internet Access ● EDI for Electronic Agriculture commerce ● Bibliographic database Farmers were provided with the latest information on Agriculture Science through live access on Internet. The Multimedia and Internet facilities demonstrated at the stall were highly appreciated by a large number of agriculture scientists, research scholars and several farmers.
