Mumbai : The National Informatics Centre had put up a stall at INFOCOM' 97 held during February 12-15, 1997 at the World Trade Centre at Mumbai. NIC's services for Video Conferencing were the area of focus at the Exhibition.
During the Exhibition the equipment in the stall was used to connect several sites nation-wide and the members of the public and business visitors were given a hands on opportunity to experience the benefit of Video Conferencing.
Demonstration of Video Conferencing capabilities for holding conferences with sites abroad were also given with live conferences by connecting London and Paris from the stall.
