Lakshadweep: The NIC Lakshadweep Union Territory Centre has developed and implemented Pay Roll package in all the departments of Lakshadweep Administration at Kavaratti. The system is used to generate the pay bill and all related schedules of around 1800 employees who come under 32 drawing disbursing officers. The Lakshadweep Pay and Accounts department has made it mandatory to submit the pay bills in the computer forms. The system has also been successfully implemented in the Lakshadweep office at Kochi from July, 1996.
