Bhubaneswar: A three-day state-level workshop on Creation of Dealers Database for the Commercial Tax Department of Orissa, was held at Bhubaneswar recently. The workshop was attended by Sales Tax Officials and Staff of the Commercial Tax Department. Justifying the immediate need for creating a centralized dealers database, Mr AK Samantray, Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department, urged his officers and staff to participate wholeheartedly in the massive exercise. The workshop included a demonstration of the software developed by NIC.
