The Department of Company Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice and Company Affairs recently released a company directory on CD-ROM. The directory was released by Sh. L.M. Gupta, Regional Director, Northern Region, Department of Company Affairs.
The CD-ROM, developed by the NIC J&K Unit comprises the details of more than five lakh companies and is expected to be extremely useful for the chartered accountants and company secretaries. The Department plans to update the Directory from time to time. At the function, Sh. AK Aggarwal, SIO, NIC J&K demonstrated the different aspects and technical details of the CD-ROM to the audience.
