NIC -Gujarat State Unit has developed a generalised software called Court Cases Monitoring System (C. C.M.S.) with a view to aid any department or individual in monitoring the cases pending in different courts such as Supreme Court, High Court, District Court, Labour Court, Consumer Court etc.
This software is quite comprehensive in nature and maintains practically the entire history of the case. The information maintained includes the case number, classification, file serial number, litigant's details, Advocates' & Judge's details, documents filed, dates of hearing, references, appeals filed and action being taken by the department.
The salient features of the software are :
- Availability of latest and up-to-date status of any pending case
- Availability of the information of the cases to be attended to during specific period.
- Statistical information for decision making
- Maintenance of the disposed cases for future reference.
