Lakshadweep: The Lakshadweep District Rural Development Agency has identified NIC Lakshadweep Centre as the nodal agency for the implementation of "Computers in Education" Programme under the MP's Local Area Development Scheme. The Project will require NIC to supply multimedia computer systems, software and training to the respective staff of all High Schools of Lakshadweep. Multimedia systems will be used as an educational tool for giving the students an exposure to computers.
