Mizoram: The Directorate of Food and Civil Supplies(FCS), Government of Mizoram, has been connected to the NICNET National Network through a dial-up modem line.
The Director of FCS, Government of Mizoram, Mr Rajendra Kumar (IAS) formally inaugurated the link and expressed the view that NICNET will be very useful in monitoring essential food supply to the remote districts of Mizoram.
Exuding confidence over the link-up, he said that given the information flow from the Directorate to the remote districts, the management capability of the department was bound to improve.
