Recently, the process of land mutation was computerized at the Bero circle office, Ranchi district with the inauguration of e-Mutation software, by IAS Sh. K K Sone, Deputy Commissioner. Sh. Sone handed over the correction slip generated through the e-Mutation system to Sh. Kailash Ohdar and Smt. Ashrita Bara at a simple function organized on the occasion and declared that the e-Mutation system designed & developed by NIC, District Centre Ranchi, will be implemented at other circles of the districts also. The web based software, developed in ASP.Net uses SQL Server database and is role based on assigned duties. The operator enters the details of buyers, sellers, plots etc., and generates the slip for the applicant. The dealing assistant verifies the entered details and generates 'General Notice (Proclamation Notice)' & Correction Slip after the mutation. Earlier, the Revenue Karamchari used to verify the documents physically, plot from Register II and submit his report. The Circle Inspector verifies the report submitted by Revenue Karamchari and the Circle Officer reviews the report submitted by both the CI & the karamchari respectively.
