It is good news for the newly retired Government employees of Orissa that they need not wait long for or fall in a loop with the middleman brokers to know the status of their pension and general provident fund. The 'e-pension tracking', a web enabled portal (http://agorissa.nic.in) of Accountant General Office, Bhubaneswar, was formally inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Orissa, Sh. A.U. Singhdeo in the presence of Chief Secretary Sh. Ajit Kumar Tripathi, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (IT), Sh. S.N. Tripathi, IAS, D.G., Vigilance, Sh. G. C. Nanda, IPS, Accountant General, Sh. P.K. Mishra, State Informatics Officer, NIC, Orissa, Sh. S.K. Panda and a host of senior officers of Government of Orissa and Central Govt including Pension and Grievance Secretary and Special Secretary, General Administration Department. The e-pension portal has been developed by a team from NIC Orissa comprising Dr. R. N. Behera, Technical Director and Sh. P.K. Mohanty, Scientist-C under the overall guidance of Sh. S. K. Panda, SIO.
