The Tehsil level land records computerisation project was recently launched at Talcher Tehsil in Angul District of Orissa. With this, Talcher became the first tehsil in the district where the land records shall be fully computerised. A total of 56191 khatiyans in 9 R.I circles for 440 villages of Talcher Tehsil have been already entered into the system so that people get the computerised copy of the “Record of Rights” without delay.
