MAHAFOOD, a web based application has been developed and implemented by NIC for the Food and Civil Supply Department of Govt. of Maharashtra. The system enables automation of the various stages of movement of food grains. This application keeps track of the monthly allotment of essential commodities under various schemes from Centre to State and similarly from State to Districts and also monitors the Lifting and Offtake of the commodities from the Districts.
