The official web site of West Bengal Human Rights Commission was launched by the Hon’ble Chairman Justice Shyamal Sen on 26th January,2004 in the presence of Hon’ble Members of Commission and SIO,West Bengal State Centre. In his inaugural address, Justice Sen expressed his pleasure that NIC had managed to develop and launch the website in merely two weeks and emphasized that “Where there is will,there is way“. He also stated that the commission is planning to automate all its activities as far as possible. SIO, NIC West Bengal delivered a talk on various E-Governance initiatives undertaken by NIC in the state.
