A National Conference on “Post-Harvest Technologies and Effective Management of a Cooperative” was held on 10th October’2003 at New Delhi. The objective of the conference was to bring together on a common platform, various cooperative societies dealing with food processing and agribusiness activities. Various NIC Projects in the related areas, including Agmarknet, Nafed Computerisation, Warana Wired Village Project and Pravara Educational Complex ICT Network were demonstrated during the various technical sessions. A prominent session on “ICT enabled Agribusiness : Pathways to Rural Prosperity” was chaired by Sh. M Moni, DDG, NIC and also the Chairperson of the organizing committee of the event which was jointly organized by Bhoovigyan Vikas Foundation and Park Technologies Inc. The conference was presided over by Sh. Annasaheb M.K Patil, Hon’ble Minister of State for Rural Development.
