Sh. Narayan Dutt Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttaranchal inaugurated the Rozgar Disha Kendra in a recently held function at Dehradun. The Govt. of Uttaranchal has converted the Employment Exchange into Employment Exchange and Career Counseling Center (Rozgaar Disha Kendra). NIC Uttaranchal State Unit has developed software for the computerization of this newly evolved system. After this the vacant posts in state government would compulsorily be filled with registered unemployed persons only. Computeristion will help in monitoring the huge database of Employment Exchanges in an efficient manner. Salient features of the software are Generation of Registration Card, Fresh Registration with photograph, Backlog registration with photograph, Vacancy Registration, Renewal of Registration, Transfer of Registration, Daily Registration report, Daily Updation List, List of eligible candidates against vacancy as per seniority, Lapse Registration List etc. In addition to other details of the candidates, the software captures the photograph of the candidate with the help of a web camera. The occasion was witnessed by Sh. Heera Singh Bisht, Hon. Minister for Employment & Training, Sh.N S Napalchayal Principal Secretary, Employment & Training, SIO NIC Uttaranchal and other officials from district administration along with members from Press, Media and Public.
