PATNA; BIHAR; NOV: Computerization of court management in the Patna High Court is providing an effective answer to the administrative crisis which had almost engulfed the Judiciary System, said a report from our Bihar State Unit.
Computerization has not only accelerated the pace of disposal of cases, but has also proved its utility by eradicating corruption and manipulations. Introduction of computers for high court management has fully automated registration of new cases and subject-wise allotment of cases for different benches which is an inseparable attribute of the Indian Judiciary System, adds the report. The project was started a year back when a team of scientists from the Bihar State Unit of NIC began work on the conceptualization of the High Court Management System.
An AT-486 system with ten terminals has been installed in the Patna High Court with funds sanctioned by the Bihar Government. NIC is providing full software and operational support for the High Court Management System, concluded the report.
